Restaurant Poise is a Michelin-starred fine dining establishment helmed by Executive Chef Steve Lancaster. He serves European cuisine that is inspired by Nordic techniques, honed to perfection over his many years in Sweden.
The essence of Restaurant Poise is balance. Every plate prepared by Steve is perfectly balanced in flavour, plated meticulously and precisely. This brand identity aims to capture and reflect the restaurant’s core belief of balance, as well as pay homage to the Nordic roots of Steve’s culinary journey.
The logo is inspired by the way Steve plates a dish, capturing the moment when his spoon is perfectly poised over a plate.
As Poise is a restaurant with strong Nordic influences, the brand identity also takes inspiration from Nordic design - minimalist and clean.
The colour palette is inspired by the landscape of Nordic regions - a deep blue from the Fjords and mountains that blend into snow-white peaks.
